Yoga has been favoured as a movement to improve the body’s flexibility and enhance mind-body connection.
To me, the beauty of yoga that sets it apart from other forms of exercise is its ability to draw out our body’s innate gift to recover and rejuvenate simply by resting.
Just like how nature has its four seasons, we function best when we allow ourselves to embrace the art of relaxation not just with the occasional holiday, but with daily respites.
This can come in myriad forms such as meditation, breathwork, sound therapy and yoga.
